How to play HEADS OR TAILS

HEADS OR TAILS is the KAKALOT Originals coin flip. Flip 1, 2 or 3 coins and call heads, tails or a mix. Every round is settled in one flip, and every option pays back 90% on average.

How to play, step by step

  1. Choose how many coins to flip: 1, 2 or 3.
  2. Pick your call: heads, tails or middle (middle only exists with 2 or 3 coins). With 2-3 coins you can make up to 2 calls with the same stake on each; with 1 coin you make 1.
  3. Enter the stake per call and check the limits shown in the game window.
  4. Press "Flip". The server draws the result and pays from the table at once.
  5. See the latest results, and check any round in the Provably Fair panel of the game page.

Auto mode plays a series for you: set the number of rounds and stop rules for a loss or a win of a set amount. Auto repeats the same calls and stake every round.

Rules

  • Heads: every coin flipped lands heads.
  • Tails: every coin flipped lands tails.
  • Middle: the same flip shows both heads and tails (2 or 3 coins).
  • Each coin lands heads or tails with equal chance; each coin comes from 1 bit of an HMAC-SHA256 digest.
  • With 2 calls, one flip settles both. Each call has its own stake and payout, so the total can still be below what you staked even when one call wins.

Paytable and RTP

The multiplier is the total you get back, stake included, per unit staked on that call. For example, 1 USDT on heads with 1 coin returns 1.8 USDT on a win.

HEADS OR TAILS paytable
CoinsCallChanceMultiplier (incl. stake)
1 coinHeads (every coin lands heads)50%1.8×
1 coinTails (every coin lands tails)50%1.8×
2 coinsHeads (every coin lands heads)25%3.6×
2 coinsTails (every coin lands tails)25%3.6×
2 coinsMiddle (both heads and tails)50%1.8×
3 coinsHeads (every coin lands heads)12.5%7.2×
3 coinsTails (every coin lands tails)12.5%7.2×
3 coinsMiddle (both heads and tails)75%1.2×

An RTP of 90% is the theoretical average over a very large number of rounds: players get back 90 of every 100 units staked. The rest is 5% site revenue and a 5% contribution to the Royal Jackpot. Each round is random, so a session can land far above or far below the average.

More likely calls pay less. Middle with 3 coins lands 75% of the time, so it pays 1.2×; heads with 3 coins is much rarer (12.5%), so it pays 7.2×. Every option returns the same average.

Bet limits

Each game shows its per-round bet range in the game window, and the range can change with the site policy, so no fixed figures are printed here. The lowest stake the site allows is 0.01 USDT.

With 2-3 coins and 2 calls, the minimum and maximum apply per call, and the largest possible payout of any outcome must stay within the per-round payout cap.

Royal Jackpot

Every real-money round adds 5% of the stake to the Royal Jackpot and gets a chance at one of its 4 tiers (MINI, MINOR, MAJOR, GRAND). A bigger stake gives a proportionally bigger chance. Demo rounds cannot win the jackpot.

Demo mode vs real money

Demo mode uses free points, not real money, and they cannot be withdrawn. The demo pays more than real play (RTP about 100% versus 90% with real money), so treat it as a way to learn the game, not as a preview of real-money results.

Verify a round yourself

Before you play you see a commitment (SHA-256 hash) of the server seed that decides the results. When you press "Rotate seed", the old server seed is revealed; press "Verify" on the game page and your browser recomputes every round itself. If the hash and the results match, the results were not changed after you played. The full steps are in the fairness guide.

HEADS OR TAILS computes HMAC-SHA256 with the server seed as the key and the message clientSeed:nonce. Coin i lands tails when the lowest bit of byte i is 1 and heads when it is 0.

Frequently asked questions

What is the RTP of HEADS OR TAILS?

90% for every option, every coin count and every call. Rare calls pay more and common calls pay less, but the average return is the same.

What does middle pay with 3 coins?

Middle with 3 coins lands 75% of the time and pays 1.2× per unit staked on it (stake included). Heads or tails with 3 coins lands 12.5% of the time and pays 7.2×.

How many calls can I make per round?

With 1 coin you make 1 call; with 2 or 3 coins you can make up to 2, with the same stake on each.

Does HEADS OR TAILS have a demo mode? Do I need to sign up first?

Yes. Open the game page and play the demo straight away, no sign-up needed. It uses free points that are not real money and cannot be withdrawn. The demo pays more than real-money play (RTP about 100% versus 90%), so use it only to learn how the game works.

Can HEADS OR TAILS results be changed after I play?

The random seed is locked with a SHA-256 commitment before you play and revealed after you rotate it, so you can recompute every result in your own browser. If a result were changed after play, the hashes would not match. See the steps in the fairness guide.
